Beginner Guide
First days: herb economy, Lab, a 5-hero core, alliance, and what to bank for duel.
Updated:
Early goal
Do not chase Sanctuary level for the number. In the first days you need:
- Stable herb / food / timber production
- A never-idle Research Lab queue
- An active alliance
- A 5-hero core, not 10 half-built units
First 48 hours
- Clear Chapter Quests — main XP, speedups, and shards (tap the top quest tracker).
- Production order: Herb Garden → Farm → Lumberyard. Medicine is the bottleneck.
- Keep storage slightly ahead of production (~12h offline buffer).
- Unlock Lab and never leave the queue empty.
- Join an alliance immediately: helps and events beat a fancy tag.
- Assign every survivor to production right away.
- Explore via the Falcon Tower — resources and tickets.
Economy
Do not upgrade Sanctuary if the production trio lags by 2+ levels. Extra wards without herbs stall the account.
First-day order: production → storage → Sanctuary → wards → towers at choke points for Rat Swarm.
Starter hero core
| Position | Role | Pick |
|---|---|---|
| Front | Tank | Arthur (UR) or Bella (SSR) |
| Back | Main DPS | Marlena or Grenwald |
| Back | Support | Stellar |
| Flex | Damage / utility | Griffith / Claire |
Invest order: tank + carry skills → their gear → the rest of the roster. One fully built hero beats three half-built ones.
Bank from day one
| Resource | For |
|---|---|
| Build / research speedups | Alliance Duel |
| Training speedups | Duel Day 5 |
| Falcon Quests | Matching phase (often 1 / 3 / 5) |
| Antitoxin / shards | Mostly Day 4 |
Beginner mistakes
- Pushing Sanctuary without economy
- Burning speedups on normal days
- Spreading mats across 10 heroes
- Placing Rat Swarm towers everywhere instead of choke points
- Ignoring alliance until mid-game
